Welcome to Montana! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred privately to your accommodation at Sage Lodge located in the beautiful Paradise Valley, ideally located near Yellowstone’s Northern Gateway. This evening, enjoy an exclusive Chef’s Tasting Menu in the private wine cellar at historic Chico Hot Springs Resort.

Lamar Valley
This morning, depart early for wildlife viewing in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park, hoping for a glimpse of the iconic grey wolf. Often referred to as the Serengeti of North America, the Lamar Valley provides an excellent habitat for the resident bison herds and wolf packs. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in the field. This afternoon, get off the beaten path with an afternoon hike tailored to your interests and abilities. Explore the flora and fauna up close with your expert naturalist guide. On your way back to the lodge visit the travertine terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs.
Enjoy dinner tonight at the lodge with a menu of the best products the region has to offer.

Yellowstone by Air & by Water
After a morning hike or mountain bike ride at the lodge, take to the air for a scenic helicopter flight over Yellowstone National Park where you will witness the Old Faithful geyser and the impressive Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River from a birds-eye view.
Late afternoon, embark on a scenic float on the Yellowstone River by vintage wooden drift boat. Take in the beauty of the river as your river guide shares knowledge of the riparian ecosystem. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way while you enjoy sundowner appetizers and drinks on board with views of the stunning Absaroka Range. Return to the lodge for dinner on your own.

For this journey, there are no health-related requirements such as mandatory vaccinations or recommended medications.
The best time to undertake this journey is between mid-June and the end of September as some of the activities are seasonal and/or weather dependent.
